EVISBEATS & Nagipan Find Beauty in Simplicity on New Collaborative Album

Japanese producer EVISBEATS and singer Nagipan are preparing to release their new collaborative album Beauty on September 25, continuing a creative partnership built around warmth, restraint and music designed to live alongside everyday life.

The 10-track project arrives through AMIDA STUDIO and follows a string of September singles that have gradually revealed the album’s direction.

First came “Ikishini” on September 4, followed by “Aioi” on September 11 and “Tayutau” on September 18.

Instead of chasing the aggressive production, heavy bass and immediate impact dominating much of contemporary rap, EVISBEATS and Nagipan are deliberately moving in another direction.

Their goal with Beauty is much simpler: make music that simply feels good to live with.

EVISBEATS and Nagipan Search for “Beauty”

The concept behind the album emerged after EVISBEATS and Nagipan completed a trilogy of projects: Suiten, Oka Kiyoshi and Sanmai.

According to EVISBEATS, the feeling that remained after finishing those records was beauty.

That idea became the starting point for the new album.

Rather than trying to make something deliberately flashy, the pair focused on music that could quietly accompany listeners through ordinary moments.

That philosophy shaped not only the songwriting but also the way Beauty was recorded.

Real Instruments Shape the Sound

EVISBEATS and Nagipan experimented with recording equipment throughout the creation of the album, paying particular attention to the characteristics of physical microphones, preamps, EQs and guitar amplifiers.

Live instrumentation also plays an important role.

TAKU INSIST performs guitar throughout the album, adding another organic layer alongside the piano and production.

EVISBEATS recorded, mixed and mastered the project himself at AMIDA STUDIO, while all 10 tracks were produced jointly by EVISBEATS and Nagipan.

That hands-on approach fits the philosophy behind the record.

At a moment when music can be created and processed faster than ever, Beauty places value on listening closely, experimenting with physical equipment and allowing imperfections and subtle changes in sound to remain part of the music.

“Ikishini” Introduced the Album

The first preview arrived with “Ikishini.”

Released September 4, the track combines gentle piano and guitar with Nagipan’s voice, establishing the relaxed atmosphere that runs through the project.

Rather than overwhelming the listener, the arrangement leaves space between its elements.

It became the first glimpse of what EVISBEATS and Nagipan mean when they describe Beauty as music capable of quietly accompanying everyday life.

“Aioi” Strips Things Back Further

One week later, the pair released “Aioi.”

The instrumental track puts guitar and keyboard at the center, allowing the musicianship and small details of the production to carry the record without needing a conventional vocal performance.

That restraint makes “Aioi” an important part of the rollout.

Where many album campaigns lead with the loudest or most immediately accessible record, EVISBEATS and Nagipan have been revealing Beauty through songs that emphasize atmosphere.

“Tayutau” Becomes the Third Preview

The rollout continued on September 18 with “Tayutau,” giving listeners a third look at the album just one week before its full release.

Together, the three September singles establish a clear identity.

Beauty isn’t being positioned as a collection built around one obvious hit.

Instead, EVISBEATS and Nagipan appear to be treating the album as one continuous listening experience.
