TOKYO世界 Opens the “ENTRANCE”: Debut Album and Solo Concert Mark a New Chapter

Japanese artist TOKYO世界 (TOKYO SEKAI) is poised to make a significant impact with the release of his debut album, “ENTRANCE,” on April 18th, 2025. This highly anticipated album, following his attention-grabbing appearance on Rap Star 2024, promises to be a deeply personal and sonically rich exploration of the artist’s journey.

TOKYO世界, known for his unique “昭和歌謡VIBES” (Showa era song vibes) style, has crafted “ENTRANCE” as a reflection of his 24 years of life. The album delves into the artist’s internal struggles, grappling with feelings of inferiority and the search for liberation. It’s a raw and honest portrayal of his personal conflicts and rebellion against a reality he feels doesn’t fully embrace him.

The album boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, further enriching its sonic landscape. Notably, TOKYO世界 has enlisted the talents of FARMHOUSE (from SUSHIBOYS), an artist he profoundly admires, and Shirafu, a frequent collaborator from their group Legal Nerd Boyz. Sound production is handled by the skilled hands of NOAH, known for his work on “Welcome To TOKYO SEKAI,” alongside HUGH THE KID, TOKYO世界’s live DJ, and KM. Sound engineer Kakeru Kanie, a fellow regional artist, continues his partnership with TOKYO世界 after their work on the EP “Roman.”

The album’s visual aesthetic is equally compelling, with cover art designed by Kachi Natsumi, an independent illustrator whose work perfectly captures the essence of TOKYO世界’s artistic vision.

Adding to the excitement, TOKYO世界 has announced his first solo concert, “Welcome to TOKYO SEKAI,” scheduled for May 17th at Shibuya WWW X in Tokyo.¹ Pre-sale tickets are now available, offering fans the option to purchase packages including the album CD. The concert’s promotional visuals, designed by KID ROSE and photographed by YURI HORIE, further highlight the artist’s dedication to creating a cohesive and immersive artistic experience.
