Manjyu Drops Visuals for “Joujou” Featuring basho – A Gentle Anthem of Everyday Life

Rising Yokosuka rapper Manjyu is back with a stunning new visual for “Joujou feat. basho”, a standout track from his summer EP Casa. Known for pushing boundaries with his HOOLIGANZ collective, Manjyu continues to blend thoughtful lyrics, mellow vibes, and rich visuals into something fresh and deeply personal.

“Joujou” is a collab with basho—a rapper repping CBS and Pistachio Studio. The track wraps you in a cozy soundscape, anchored by a hypnotic guitar loop and lyrics that echo the beauty of life’s quiet moments. It’s simple, soulful, and strikingly honest.

Directed by Manjyu himself under his alias Rap La Movie, the music video traverses the urban contrasts of Taipei and Tokyo, creating a vibrant visual dialogue between two cities. Every frame feels intentional, mirroring the song’s emotional layers with visual flair.

The Casa EP, produced entirely by Manjyu under his beatmaker identity Rap La Beats, is a sonic diary rooted in the rhythms of Yokosuka life. Featuring introspective lyrics, genre-blending production, and key collaborations—including this gem with basho—it’s a body of work that’s both grounded and expansive.

If you haven’t yet tapped in, Joujou is the perfect entry point into Manjyu’s world—one where smooth beats meet raw storytelling.
