Hailing from Osaka, Japan, singer NENE has established herself as a rising talent in the Japanese neo-soul and R&B landscape. Gaining initial recognition in 2021 for her well-received debut EP, “Room25,” which showcased an intimate musical style, she further solidified her potential in 2024 with “Drown in My Karma,” a project marked by a more assertive sound that garnered increasing attention within Japan.

Possessing a voice described as both delicate and powerful, NENE captivates listeners with a musical world characterized by understated grooves, minimalist production, and emotionally resonant storytelling. She is now embarking on a new phase, focusing on international reach through a collaboration with French producer Sonikem. Sonikem is noted as a key figure connecting the European and Asian music scenes, having been active in Japan since 2017.
