Hip-Hop Meets Crime Drama: “MOGURA” Set to Stream Worldwide on Netflix

Fans of gritty police stories and hip-hop culture have something big to look forward to — ABEMA’s original series “警視庁麻薬取締課 MOGURA” will debut globally on Netflix starting March 13, 2025.
Already a hit in Japan, MOGURA fuses intense crime drama with the raw energy of rap music, drawing inspiration from a real-life account shared by rapper 漢 a.k.a. GAMI. The series follows the gripping story of a skilled rapper who works undercover as a police officer, penetrating a circle of artists to expose a drug ring.

The cast also features powerful performances from Riko Narumi, Kaito Yoshimura, Kuroudo Maki, Mitsuru Fukikoshi, and Shunsuke Kazama, bringing to life the gritty, high-stakes world of MOGURA.
